My journey as a theatre nurse started in Whipps Cross Hospital in 1976. As a team leader in the gynaecology theatre my main challenge was to ensure daily operating sessions were managed efficiently, instruments were available, and stocks replenished. As an experienced theatre nurse I have performed and instructed in complicated laparoscopic and open procedures. I have always worked diligently to maintain a safe and conducive environment for patients and colleagues, as well as always looking to deliver high standards of perioperative care.
